Why We Built This Site
Nevada records are separated by both record type and custodian. Carson City Sheriff’s Office Civil and Records maintains agency reports, booking information, and local criminal-history material. The District Court and Justice/Municipal Court clerks keep filings, orders, and dispositions for the cases within their jurisdiction. The Nevada State Police Records, Communications and Compliance Division Records Bureau operates the Central Repository, while the Nevada Department of Corrections and Nevada Public Sex Offender Registry maintain different statewide records. This site brings the official contacts, access steps, portals, and published fee information into one reference point.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not part of a Nevada court, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, or any state agency. Its role is limited:
- We do not issue certified court files, criminal histories, or other official copies
- We cannot submit record requests, sealing petitions, or other filings for a visitor
- We do not obtain an official background check or retrieve a person’s record
- We cannot provide legal advice about an individual charge, warrant, or case
- We cannot promise that an agency’s address, fee, or procedure has not changed
An official record must come from its custodian, such as the sheriff, a court clerk, or the Nevada State Police RCCD Records Bureau.
Search Partners
Outside companies power search boxes that appear on some pages. Each provider controls its service, prices, and results. If use of a tool leads to a paid enrollment, this site may receive a referral fee that supports free public access to the reference material. We do not set a partner’s charges or determine the information returned by its system.
